As a young designer, I find it so easy to get caught up in the here and now -- the instant gratification of today's world and technology. If you have an idea, you can execute it almost immediately on the computer. But when we reflect on the roots of advertising, we are reminded that artists didn't have the computer to do things for them - everything was done by hand, with a great deal of patience.
This video is very inspiring to everyone at Asen and other agencies as well. It takes us back to the days of slow paced beauty - a reminder of what art actually is. I greatly admire the painters who lift their brushes everyday, rain or shine, to create the masterpieces we take for granted. It takes heart and diligence to uphold such a profession.
